Tiesto & John Legend Celebrate 'Summer Nights' in Dominican Republic

The Marc Klasfeld-directed clip is set in La Zona Colonial, the central neighborhood of Dominican capital Santo Domingo. Mixing scenes of local flavor with shots of young men and women getting ready for a night out, the "Summer Nights" video builds to a bombastic block party filled with motorcycle stunts and dancing that lasts until sunrise.

"Summer Nights" was released in June and marks the second collaboration between Tiësto and Legend, who previously linked up in 2014 for a Grammy-winning remix of Legend's ballad "All of Me."

"Summer Nights" is also one of several singles the Dutch superstar DJ has released this year, along with "The Right Song," with Oliver Heldens and Natalie La Rose, "Making Me Dizzy" with Bobby Puma" and, most recently, "Infected" with Jauz.

Filmed in the vibrant streets of Santo Domingo, the cameras follow the city's impromptu dance party as the people let loose to the feel-good jam. Legend also makes a cameo as a singing mural of sorts on the building wall's as the sultry festivities go down.

Production was handled by cinefilms.

“I was really excited to work with John again following the huge success we had with my remix of ‘All Of Me,’” said Tiësto in a release sent to Billboard. “For ‘Summer Nights,’ we wanted to make a record that mixed the energy from my club tracks with his amazing soulful take on pop music and I’m really happy with the result. This record is definitely a bit of a musical departure for me but it was important to us that the end result really emphasize John’s funky soul vibe.”
